What is Suboxone?

Suboxone is a drug used to treat narcotic (opiate) addiction containing a combination of buprenorphine and naloxone. Buprenorphine is an opioid medication and naloxone blocks the effects of opioid medication. Suboxone is not used for pain but instead, naloxone blocks pain relief and feelings of well-being that can lead to opioid abuse. Taking suboxone can cause habits and addiction if not used correctly.

The most common side effects of Suboxone includes the following.

Dizziness

Drowsiness

Mouth numbness

Nausea and vomiting

Pounding heartbeat

Sleep problems
